Tributes have been pouring in following the shocking death of US actor Michael K. Williams, who is best known for starring in the HBO drama series The Wire.
The 54-year-old was found dead in his New York apartment on Monday from a suspected drug overdose, however that has not yet been confirmed.
The Wire creator David Simon wrote on Twitter that Williams was "a fine man and a rare talent," while singer Mariah Carey described him as a "beautiful soul".
Tributes also came from directors Ava DuVernay, who worked with him on When They See Us, and Spike Lee, as well as actors Idris Elba, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis.
