A New York City Medical Examiner's Officer has determined that American actor Michael K. Williams's death was accidental.
The TV star died from acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, p-fluorofentanyl, heroin and cocaine.
Williams was found dead in his New York City apartment earlier this month.
He had been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse, addressing his battle in a 2017 interview with the New York Times.
Williams rose to stardom for his performance as Omar Little in The Wire as well as roles in Boardwalk Empire, Bessie and The Night Of.
