Anne Heche
American actress Anne Heche, known for roles in Murphy Brown and Another Word, has died.
The 53-year-old was in a devastating car accident last Friday that left her in a coma.
Reports are that the car was travelling at a high speed when it ran off the road and collided with a residence that became engulfed in flames.
Her family had issued a statement shortly before her death, informing the public that the Six Days, Seven Nights star was not expected to survive after experiencing a catastrophic brain injury caused by the car accident.
Her family also wanted to thank fans and famous friends for their outpouring of support since the tragic car crash.
