Golden Globe-winning actress Taraji P. Henson will shine the spotlight on mental wellness in a new talk show for Facebook Watch.
The original series, tentatively titled "Peace of Mind with Taraji" will be co-hosted by her longtime best friend, Tracie Jade Jenkins.
"Peace of Mind with Taraji" is slated to go into production later this year.
In the show, Henson and Jenkins will interview celebrities, experts and everyday people about mental health issues, particularly in the Black community.
"Peace of Mind with Taraji" is the latest addition to Facebook Watch's slate of talk shows — part of the social media giant's strategy to focus on personality-driven and reality programming as it has sidelined scripted shows.
Other shows include "Red Table Talk" with Jada Pinkett Smith, one of Facebook Watch's top-performing originals, and "Steve on Watch," a revival of Steve Harvey's daytime talk show.
Taraji has always been an advocate for mental health, and in 2018 launched the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, named after her late father who suffered from mental health issues.
