Entertainment management company Solid Agency last night released a statement on behalf of the family of dancehall deejay Aidonia.
The artiste, born Sheldon Lawrence, and his wife Kimberly are reportedly grief-stricken at the loss of their only child, Khalif, who died on Saturday in hospital.
The 9-year-old who was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2019, took his final breath in his parents' arms.
The statement adds that the family deeply appreciates the outpouring of prayer, love, and support and is asking for privacy.
They are also strongly opposed to granting interviews during this difficult time.
