R&B star Brandy has reached a settlement with her former housekeeper who sued her for age discrimination in March.
Maria Elizabeth Castaneda, who also goes by Elizabeth Juarez, sued the singer-actor for more than US $250,000.
The 60 year old worked for Norwood for nearly 20 years between September 2002 and February this year, where she cooked, cleaned and did laundry.
Castaneda accused her former employer of age discrimination related to her firing, plus additional violations related to state-mandated breaks, meal periods, overtime and more.
The "Moesha" actress eventually reached a settlement $40,000 settlement with Castaneda.
The lawyers who worked on the case are now demanding that Brandy pay an additional $87,445 for their legal fees because they claim the majority of their firm worked on the case and it took up a substantial amount of time.
A hearing regarding the fees is set for December 8.
