Reggae singer Buju Banton has taken to social media to highlight his displeasure with the protocols put in place by the government to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
In video messages posted on his official Instagram account, Buju Banton called for an end to the wearing of masks, adding that the measures are instilling fear in the nation and driving more people into poverty.
The artiste has insisted that he will not be wearing a mask and is calling for freedom.
He also sought answers on what is being done to assist persons who have been laid off and the businesses that are suffering due to the restrictions.
The posts have attracted thousands of comments, with some expressing support while others were against his comments.
