Photo sharing site Instagram has released the most liked photos for the year 2020, which was dominated by celebrities who lost their lives during the year.
The most liked photo with 19.7 million was posted by footballer Christiano Ronaldo, as he paid tribute to legend Diego Maradona after his passing.
The photo announcing the death of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman was the second most liked with 19.1 million, while another football icon's post Lionel Messi of Maradona at 16.4 million came in third.
Also in the top five was a post by basketball's leading man LeBron James and the late Kobe Bryant with 15.5 million likes after his sudden death in January.
Overall, reality star and beauty entrepreneur Kylie Jenner's pictures generated the most likes throughout the year, while Cristiano Ronaldo remains the most followed person on Instagram.
