Dawn Penn's iconic hit single You Don't Love Me (No, No, No) has been certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
The 1968 single has topped sales of 400,000 in the UK.
The Steelie and Clevie version of the single peaked at number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in April 1994.
The hit has reportedly been sampled in 23 songs and covered in eight, including by heavyweights Rihanna, Eve, Ghostface Killah, Usher, and Alicia Keys.
The so-called 'Queen of Hip Hop/Soul' Mary J Blige is the latest to sample the song for her 15th studio album titled Good Morning Gorgeous.
