Dexta Daps defies COVID-19 protocols in New York by hosting secret party

Dancehall artiste Dexta Daps has reportedly defied COVID-19 protocols in Brooklyn, New York, by hosting a jam packed secret party.
A New York Times report stated that in footage circulating on social media, there were hundreds of fans tightly packed into the undisclosed outdoor venue, many of whom were not wearing masks.
Jamaican vocalist Ikaya also performed at the event.
Under the state's COVID-19 guidelines, outdoor entertainment-related activities are only allowed to resume at 33 per cent capacity and with patrons six feet apart.
However, Promoter Steelie Bashment insists his team did everything "by the books".
He reportedly told THE STAR that he believes the turnout was within the required limits.
