Members of the entertainment fraternity are mourning the shooting death of dancehall artiste and songwriter Assailant.
The Clarendon-born deejay, who is a member of the Bounty Killer lead Alliance music group, was shot and killed outside a house party in the Encino neighborhood in Los Angeles, California.
Assailant's last posts on social media were taken at the event.
International dancehall deejay Shaggy, who worked closely with the artiste, has since expressed shock with an all black post on Instagram.
Bounty Killer also posted a photo of the two, sending condolences to his family and friends, while music producer Skatta Burrell shared a video of the artiste.
Assailant, whose given name is Omar Thompson, was best known for his single Dirty Money on the ATM Riddim.
