HBO releases documentary on late rapper DMX

Cable network HBO on Thursday night honoured late rapper DMX with a documentary about his life titled DMX: Don't Try to Understand.
The feature follows the life of the New York icon born Earl Simmons, starting with his release from prison in 2019 for tax evasion.
Fans followed as DMX tried to get his life back on track, rekindling relationships with loved ones and going on his comeback tour.
The documentary also details his financial struggles as well as his addiction.
DMX, who dominated the charts with hit singles What They Really Want, Party Up and Ruff Ryders Anthem, died at the age of 50 on April 9.
