Reggae singer Jah Cure is reportedly scheduled to return to a Netherlands court on August 9.
His appearance is to decide whether the singer will remain behind bars as stipulated by Dutch law.
The 43 year old True Reflections singer born Siccature Alcock, was convicted of attempted manslaughter on March 22.
He was acquitted of an attempted murder charge, however Dutch prosecutors say they will be appealing the sentence.
Jah Cure was sentenced to six years in prison for the stabbing of a promoter over unpaid money in October 2021.
