Jah Cure's pre-trial detention extended in Amsterdam

Reggae singer Jah Cure will spend a little less than three months behind bars as he awaits another appearance in an Amsterdam court. 
 
The Council Chamber of the Amsterdam Court on Tuesday extended his pre-trial detention for an additional 83 days.
 
Jah Cure will appear in court January.
 
The True Reflections singer is charged with attempted murder, attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault or attempted aggravated assault, stemming from a case of stabbing in the Netherlands.
 
Reports are that the 43-year-old, born Siccature Alcock, was involved in a dispute with concert promoter Nicardo Blake, resulting in Blake being stabbed in the abdomen.
