Justin Bieber sues two Twitter users who accused him of sexual assault

Pop star Justin Bieber is suing two Twitter users for defamation for alleging that he sexually assaulted them.

Bieber says those accusations are false and are an attempt to impugn his character.

The social media users known as "Danielle" and "Kadi," are accused of anonymously and fraudulently scheming to seek attention and fame by maliciously posting fabricated, defamatory accusations of sexual assault against the singer.

In the the 47-page lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Bieber says he can prove that the times and locations of the alleged assaults are fabricated and factually impossible.

Bieber's attorney states they are also considering the fact that the accusers may in fact be the same person using two accounts.

His legal team is demanding punitive damages of $20 million.
