After a five-year hiatus, rapper Kendrick Lamar is back with a new album titled Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.
The project, which is the rapper's fifth LP, was released on digital services early Friday morning.
The 18-track album features production from Pharell Williams and Alchemist, plus guest appearances by Ghostface Killah, Summer Walker and Kodak Black.
Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers tackles issues of mental health and therapy, cancel culture, daddy issues and tumultuous romance.
The Pulitzer prize winner is expected to make a sizable opening-week splash on the Billboard albums chart with the highly anticipated project.
Lamar on Friday announced a world tour set to begin July 19 in Oklahoma City before making stops in Britain, Australia and New Zealand.
