Rapper and singer Lil Nas X has launched a controversial pair of "Satan Shoes" featuring a bronze pentagram, an inverted cross and a drop of real human blood.
The shoes, which sold out almost immediately, is a collaboration between Lil Nas X and a New York-based art collective.
They were made using Nike's Air Max 97s, however, the sportswear brand has distanced itself from the design.
Nike said it was not involved in creating the modified sneakers which are branded 666.
The shoes sparked outrage online over the weekend, and attracted criticism from a number of high-profile political and religious figures, with some calling it evil and devilish.
The Old Town Road rapper is unbothered by backlash and has instead been using his social media platforms to promote his latest music video Montero, which sees him being cast into hell, where he takes over from the devil.
