Spice and 'Chug It' promoters at odds after her non-performance at Florida event

Dancehall artiste Spice and the promoters of party series Chug It may be headed to court, after pointing fingers at each other for Spice's absence from the event in Florida last weekend.

In an Instagram live post, the artiste hurled accusations at the promoters, saying she was contracted to perform at 9:00 p.m., however the event was shut down by local police at that time.

She added that the promoters failed to secure the right permits for the advertised time slots and that she was forced to pay out of pocket to get to the event on time.

Chug It founder Andrew 'French' Wright hit back, insisting that all obligations were met on their part, including full payment to Spice.

He added that although the agreed performance time was 8:15 p.m., Spice was still not present at the venue at 9:00 p.m.
