'Squid Game' becomes Netflix's biggest ever series

Squid Game has officially become Netflix's biggest ever series launch.
 
Some 111 million users tuned in to the Korean drama in its first 28 days of release, dethroning Bridgerton which had held the top spot with its 82 million viewers. 
 
Netflix counts a view as watching two minutes of an episode.
 
The nine-part series tells the story of a group of people in debt, who are taking part in a series of deadly children's games for a chance to win the cash prize of ?45.6 billion (Korean won) or £28 million.
 
Squid Game has been a trending topic on social media since its release, with celebrities and sports stars taking part in the conversations.
