The late Jo Mersa's birthday celebrated on Sunday

Family and friends gathered on the 32nd anniversary of the birth of late reggae act Jo in Nine Miles, St Ann on Sunday where he was interred.

Among those in attendance were Dancehall Queen Carlene, Mersa's widow and daughter, and his uncles Damian, Julian, Ky'Mani, and Rohan Marley.

The celebration also saw performances from Capleton, Baby Cham and Spragga Benz.

Jo Mersa died December last year of a suspected asthma attack.
