Toni-Ann Singh's Miss World reign extended for a year

Miss World 2019, Jamaica's Toni-Ann Singh, will see her reign extended for another year following the cancellation of this year's show due to the coronavirus pandemic.
 
The Miss World Organization announced on Wednesday that it is postponing the 70th edition of the pageant until 2021.
 
CEO of the Miss World Organization Julia Morley said safety was paramount as the world continues the fight against COVID- 19.
 
Singh will be the first Miss World to ever serve two years.
 
Singh became the fourth Jamaican to win the Miss World title in December 2019. 
 
There is no word yet on the Miss Universe pageant.
