Reggae pioneer Toots Hibbert will reportedly be laid to rest in his hometown in Clarendon.
The cultural icon is originally from Treadlight district in May Pen.
The date for his burial has not yet been finalised, however the family is said to be putting things in place to ensure the music legend gets a fitting send-off.
Born Frederick Hibbert, and known for such hits as Monkey Man, 54-46, and Pressure Drop, Toots died at the University Hospital of the West Indies on Friday September 11.
It was later confirmed by Culture Minister Olivia Grange that Toots had tested positive for COVID-19.
He was 78 year old.
