Warner Bros. pulls plug on Batgirl movie

The new Batgirl movie has been scrapped months before its planned release.

Warner Bros. Discovery reportedly made the decision following poor reactions to test screenings.

The movie, which was budgeted at more than $70 million, was due to hit cinemas and on the streaming service HBO Max later this year.

The production, which was filmed entirely in Glasgow, Scotland, brought significant economic benefit to the city.

Warner Bros also revealed that Scoob! Holiday Haunt would be scrapped.
