Young Thug denied bail

Atlanta rapper Young Thug was denied release from jail, following new charges over drugs and illegal firearms.
A Fulton County judge denied him bail over the new charges, which were tacked onto his rap sheet based on items found in his home during his arrest on Monday.
The new counts include possession of drugs and unidentified illegal guns, such as a machine gun.
The artiste, born Jeffery Williams, was arrested on Monday after being accused of conspiracy to violate the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act through alleged involvement in a violent street gang called Young Slime Life (YSL).
Young Thug's attorney has said his client has not committed a crime and would strongly fight the charges.
