Bartlett proposes single-visa regime for CARICOM countries

Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett is proposing a single-visa regime among CARICOM member countries.

He says this should be the next critical step in rationalising entry protocols in the region.

According to Mr. Bartlett, if there is a single-visa regime, travellers would be able to apply for a CARICOM visa that allows entry into all countries in the region.

Mr. Bartlett says the region needs to adopt a new approach to air transportation and develop ideas about collaboration using technology.
