Berger Paints sees decline in profit for July to September quarter

Berger Paints Jamaica ended the July to September quarter with a decline in profit.
Post-tax earnings amounted to $27.5 million, down from $42.8 million during the same period in 2020.
However, Berger Paints recorded a 21 per cent uptick in revenue which totalled $695 million.
During the same period last year, the company earned $574 million.
Berger says it is optimistic about the prospects for growth during the current quarter as COVID-19 measures continue to ease, and construction and renovation activities pick-up.
