Broadcasting Commission sees reduction in earnings from licence fees

The Broadcasting Commission saw a reduction in earnings from licence fees for subscriber television during its 2020/2021 financial year.
 
The media regulator's annual report which was tabled on Tuesday showed a three per cent decrease in revenue amounting to $332 million.
 
That was down from $344 million in the prior year.
 
The Commission recorded a $94 million financial surplus, compared to $107 million during the 2019/2020 financial year.
