Coffee exporters want special provision under curfew orders

The Jamaica Coffee Exporters Association wants the new curfew orders to be structured to allow for the continued safe collection and pulping of cherry coffee by farmers.
Chairman of the association Norman Grant explains that the processing, transporting and purchasing of coffee is a 24 hour operation.
He says failure to have a special provision, would lead to the spoilage of the coffee and significant losses to farmers and the agricultural sector.
