Global economic recovery will take five years

World Bank Chief Economist, Carmen Reinhart, has said the global economic recovery from the recession created by the COVID-19 pandemic will probably take at least five years.
The economist indicated that there will be rebounds.
However, she said the real recovery will take into account how long the average person rebounds in terms of their income.
Miss Reinhart said rebounds will depend on when economic activity becomes more normal again following government-imposed lockdowns.
