Government starts pilot project for shared corporate services

The Government has commenced the introduction of  shared corporate services in the public sector with a pilot project.

The move comes 10 years after it was first proposed in the Master Rationalisation Plan as a way of  improving Government operations.

The Government is introducing an adapted model to make human resource operations more efficient and effective through process standardisation and better use of technology.

This means that human resource departments will be better able to support ministries, departments and agencies.
