Jamaica Producers Group recorded a 52 per cent increase in profit during the second quarter of its financial year.
For the 13-week period ended June 29, Jamaica Producers generated $399 million profit, up from $262.9 million during the same period last year.
Revenues were up 12 per cent at $5.4 billion.
Jamaica Producers said both of its business segments – Logistics and Infrastructure as well as Food and Drink generated improved second quarter and year-to-date revenues and profits relative to 2018.
