Local businesses were more optimistic about investment prospects at the end of 2021.
Head of Market Research Limited, Don Anderson, says during the October to December period, more businesses thought it was a good time to invest .
”Businesses are generally pretty bullish about investment. In 2020 - 12.3 percent in the fourth quarter, it was a bad time to invest. 50 percent said it was a good time to invest - it moved up in 2021 - we are now beginning to think more investment decisions need to be made.
Anderson, who was speaking yesterday at the release of the findings from the latest Business and Consumer Confidence survey also said that companies also felt that they would record improved profits
