Mayberry Investments has taken a minority stake in the online educational platform EduFocal.
The partnership by way of a private equity which was signed in a ceremony on Wednesday.
CEO and Co-Founder of EduFocal Limited, Gordon Swaby said they are looking forward to a great partnership with Mayberry and extending opportunities to even more students in the short, medium and long-term.
Executive Chairman of Mayberry Investments Christopher Berry, described his company's move as an investment in education, an investment in Jamaica and an investment in a young entrepreneur.
Mr. Berry added that EduFocal is the first investment directly in education with plans to grow in providing education not only to kids at the PEP level but to high school and even trade school spin offs.
