Oil prices drop to seven-month low

Oil prices tumbled to a seven-month low, extending recent heavy losses following a surprise build in U.S. crude stockpiles and fears that demand will shrink due to Washington's escalating trade war with Beijing.
Brent crude were down $2.52 at $56.42 a barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude were down $2.36 at $51.25.
