Santa Cruz branch of Scotiabank to resume normal operations

Scotiabank says its Santa Cruz Branch will resume normal operations today, following difficulties experienced by some customers who sought to carry out transactions at the branch yesterday.

In a statement to the Financial Report, Scotiabank's Executive Vice President of Retail Banking, Audrey Tugwell Henry, said the branch offered limited services due to facilities issues.

Despite this, Tugwell Henry said all deposits and withdrawals were processed as well as some non-cash transactions.

She says customers were redirected to the bank's Black River or Junction branches to conduct transactions that could not be processed in Santa Cruz.
