SDC spends $11 million at farmers' markets, business fairs

Approximately $11 million was spent at recent farmers' markets and business fairs organised by the Social Development Commission (SDC).

Mandel McKulsky, Public Relations Manager of the SDC, told the JIS that the amount in sales is from seven farmers' markets and business fairs.

The SDC's aim is to keep community businesses in operation during the period of economic downturn, caused by COVID-19.
