The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) is intensifying the search for a new Central Bank Governor ahead of Brian Wynter's departure in November.
The Central Bank on Monday published a Job Summary on its website outlining the roles, responsibilities and pre-requisites for Mr. Wynter's successor.
Earlier this year, Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke said the successor must be able to lead a modernised bank.
A search committee has been established to identify the candidate.
It is headed by David Marston, who worked at the Bank of Jamaica before joining the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
