35 ganja licences now issued by CLA

Delano Seiveright, Director of the CLA
Thirty-five licences have now been issued to persons by the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA).
In addition, more than 600 applications are being processed.
The licences are for the cultivation and processing of cannabis for medicinal purposes, retail as well as research and development.
Delano Seiveright, Director of the CLA, gave the update while speaking on TVJ's Smile Jamaica on Wednesday.
Mr. Seiveright said the local market has to keep growing to participate in markets which are opening up, particularly in Europe, such as England, Ireland and Germany.
