Jamaica recorded 393 cases COVID-19 on Friday.
The confirmations came from 3,159 samples, representing an infection rate of 28.8 per cent.
Twenty more patients were hospitalised with symptoms of the disease on Friday, increasing the total to 94.
Two are in critical condition.
Seven more deaths have been confirmed, increasing the toll to 3,028 since the start of the pandemic.
Three of those persons died during the period April to September 2021.
The other deaths occurred during January to May this year.
