The Ministry of Health has reported that 44 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Sunday from 770 samples.
Jamaica's COVID-19 positivity rate has declined to 5.2 per cent.
The overall case count is 49,712.
A 55-year-old man from St. Elizabeth is the latest person to die from COVID-19 in Jamaica, pushing the death toll to 1,034.
Hospitalisations have declined by three to 136.
Six of the cases are critical.
