A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland following a flare up of violence in the parish.
The curfew, which began at 6 o'clock Friday evening, will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., Sunday.
Westmoreland has been rocked by several murders since the start of the year.
Earlier this week gunmen fatally shot an operator of a wholesale and one of her customers in Long Hill, Whitehouse.
