There are now 76 schools that are open for face-to-face classes.
The Ministry of Education had approved 129 schools for face-to-face classes before the start of the new term in January.
School administrators were however given a two-week period from January 4 to the 18th to complete preparations and reopen.
Education minister Fayval Williams has reminded students, whose schools have not reopened for face-to-face classes, that all the other learning modalities are still available.
The Minister told the House of Representatives on Tuesday that the ministry is doing "all that we can to ensure that students continue to learn and remain engaged with their education during this pandemic, the end of which we know not when."
