Reverend Winston Thomas, Archdeacon of Mandeville
Investigators are probing the murder of an Anglican priest in Clarendon.
The body of 36 year old Larius Lewis, who was assigned the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Chapelton was found shortly before noon at the rectory.
The body was nude and the hands and feet bound.
Reverend Lewis was last seen alive on Wednesday.
Archdeacon of Mandeville Reverend Winston Thomas told Radio Jamaica News that associates of the priest went to the house to investigate and found the body.
"It was shocking to me, devastating. I am still in grief as a colleague and also as a supervisor as the Archdeacon of the region in which he works," Reverend Thomas lamented.
