Another JUTC bus destroyed by fire

Another Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus caught fire  early Friday in Papine, St Andrew.

It's reported that shortly after 8 o'clock, passengers were on the bus when the engine became engulfed in flames.

The driver reportedly extinguished the blaze with a hand held extinguisher before emergency personnel arrived.

A unit from the Half  Way Tree Fire station conducted cooling down operations.

JUTC Chairman, Garnet Roper, said the blaze was confined to the engine.
