Arrest made in connection with Love Lane double shooting

An arrest has been made in connection with last month's double shooting on Love Lane in downtown Kingston.
 
Tedane Allen, a 24-year-old labourer of  King Street in Kingston, was on Wednesday charged with murder, shooting with intent, and illegal possession of  a firearm.
 
23-year-old Junior Charlton a resident of  Love Lane was killed in the August 26 incident.
 
The police reported that Mr. Charlton and another man were walking along Love Lane when a car approached them in the vicinity of  Beeston Street. 
 
According to the police, they were shot by Mr. Allen and another man.
 
Mr. Charlton was pronounced dead at hospital and the other man admitted.
