The St. Ann police are awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a British visitor to the island.
The visitor, whose name has not been released, was staying at a villa in Ocho Rios when he became ill on Monday.
He was taken to hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest he died of food poisoning.
