Caribbean Airlines has said the COVID-19 pandemic negatively affected its earnings last year.
The airline released its unaudited financial results for the year which showed an operating loss of US$109.2 million.
The results were in stark comparison to 2019, which saw earnings before interest and taxes of US $11.2 million.
Operating expenses for 2020 were US $228 million, 47 per cent lower than 2019 due to fewer flights and strict cost controls.
