Cayman has been given the green light to commence phase one of a clinical trial of a COVID-19 vaccine.
A health care facility was granted permission by the Cayman Islands Health Practice Commission following an application.
The facility is now looking for 20 volunteers for the first phase of the human trial.
Cayman has recorded 236 cases of COVID-19.
There has been one death.
