COVID-19: 69 new infections, one more death

Jamaica recorded one new death from COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the number of fatalities from the virus to 251.

The deceased is a 58-year-old woman from Clarendon, whose death was previously under investigation. One other death is also under investigation.

There were 69 additional infections confirmed on Friday as well, which takes the total infections to 10,669. Of that number, 5,953 have recovered and 4,315 are active.
