COVID-19: CXC to close offices in Jamaica, Barbados

The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has announced that it will be closing its Western Zone Office in Jamaica effective Monday.

The regional body's office in Barbados will also be closed.

It says the decision was taken to protect both staff and stakeholders and to reduce the potential spread of the coronavirus.

The Council did not indicate when the offices would reopen, but it said, where possible, employees will be working remotely from their  homes to maintain some of the core functions of the organisation.
